Heartbeat Hangul RRShimjangi Dwoenda is a 2011 South Korean film about human organ trade. The film revolves around Yeonhee, a widow hoping for a heart transplant for her daughter. When she hears that Hwidos mother had a traumatic fall and is now braindead, Yeonhee eagerly attempts to purchase the heart. But Hwido refuses until he can find out more about what led to the fall.

Yeonhee Kim Yunjin is the principal of a prestigious Englishteaching preschool in Gangnam. She is a godly, welloff widow. Yeonhee remains hopeful in her faith that her daughter Yeeun will be able to get a heart transplant surgery.But Yeonhee has hired blackmarket organ dealers to search a healthy heart for her daughter. One donor is a live illegal immigrant, and Yeonhee cannot bring herself to take his life in exchange for sending money to his family abroad. Time after time, the donors slip through her hands. Tired of waiting, Yeonhee takes matters into her own hands, and betrays her conscience. She pays an exorbitant amount of money to arrange a transplant the donor is a patient in a persistent vegetative state, and thus unable to consent. ........
